How To Make Crispy French Fries-(फ्रेंच फ्राइज)- Potato Finger Chips- Kids Recipe- Starters

Ingredients –

  • Big Size Potato – 2-3 (as per your choice)

Method –

  1. Take a bowl of cold water.
  2. Peel the potatoes with the help of peeler and  wash.
  3. Slice into even sized pieces and  keep it in cold water.
  4. Remove the potatoes  pieces from water and put it into strainer.
  5. Spread them over a cloth and wipe them thoroughly.
  6. Transfer the French fries to a plate.
  7. Place them in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  8. After refrigerating for 30 minutes potatoes are ready to fry.
  9. Heat the vegetable oil on medium heat.
  10. Drop the fries into the heated oil and half fry them.
  11. Once all half fried, increase the heat to high and fry again.
  12. Frying the potatoes in 2 steps makes it very crispy.
  13. Fry till they get golden brown.
  14. Sprinkle some black salt and oregano..
  15. French Fries is ready to serve..

Ingredients –

  • Boiled corn – 2 cups
  • Black salt – 1/2 tsp(as per your taste)
  • A pinch of Black paper
  • Red chilly flakes (as per your taste)
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp.
  • Roasted peanuts – 1 tbsp.
  • Finely chopped Veggies (onions, capsicum and tomato) as per your choice
  • Chat masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Tamarind chutney (as per your taste)
  • Sev / spicy mixture – 1/2 cup
  • Boiled and chopped potato (optional)
  • Chopped coriander leaves (optional)

Method –

  1. Take a bowl add all ingredients and mix well.
  2. Taste the chat before serving and adjust the
    salt and spice according to your taste.
  3. Corn chaat is ready, serve immediately.

Popcorn Chicken (घर में बनाये KFC स्टाइल पॉपकॉर्न चिकन)–Chicken Recipe

Ingredients –

  • Boneless chicken fillet (wash and cut it into small pieces)
  • Corn flour/Corn starch –1 tbsp.
  • A pinch of Black paper
  • Bread crumbs (for coating)
  • Red chilli powder (as per your taste)
  • Kashmiri Red Chilly Powder (For color)
  • Egg –1
  • Salt to taste
  • Oregano –1/2 tsp.
  • Turmeric powder (Kills germs)
  • Ginger – garlic paste- 1 tbsp.
  • Vegetable oil for deep frying

Method –

  1. Cut chicken fillet to tiny bite sized pieces, wash it nicely.
  2. Add little turmeric powder, mix well.
  3. Add chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste, herbs, egg, corn flour, salt to taste, and mix well
  4. Keep marinate chicken for 30 minutes in a refrigerator.
  5. If you like you can add chilly according to your taste.
  6. After 30 minutes, add bread crumbs and mix well properly.
  7. Heat the oil in a pan/kadhai to medium heat
  8. Pick up each of these pieces and fry them till golden.
  9. Keep stirring and fry on medium heat.
  10. Pierce a piece of chicken with knife to check if it is fried well.
  11. Drain popcorn chicken popcorn on a kitchen tissue.
  12. (If you want to make it more crispy coat the pieces once again with bread crumbs)
  13. Popcorn Chicken is ready, serve hot with ketchup.

Pizza Recipe-(भटूरे के आटे से बनाये पिज़्ज़ा)-Pizza In Pan- Kids Recipe- Tiffin Recipe

Ingredients –

  • All purpose flour (Maida) – 1 cup
  • Curd – 1/2 cup
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Carom Seeds (Ajwain) – 1/2 tsp
  • Finally chopped Vegetables – capsicum, onions and tomato
  • Grated Cheese
  • Pizza sauce
  • Basil leaves (optional) for garnishing
  • Oregano seasoning
  • Chopped Olive (optional)

Method – 

  1. Add curd, vegetable oil, carom seeds and salt into the maida.
  2. Mix well and with the help of warm water prepare a soft dough.
  3. Cover and keep aside for 20 minutes.
  4. Take small portion of the dough and shape them into small ball.
  5. Apply little oil on the surface and place the dough ball on it.
  6. Flatten the dough balls with a rolling pin to shape it like a circle.
  7. Do not make the pizza base very thin.
  8. Now Heat a pan on low heat.
  9. Use a Fork to make hole in the pizza base.
  10. Grease some oil into the pan.
  11. Place the pizza base onto a greased  pan.
  12. Cover and cook on low heat.
  13. Once its ready, flip and apply pizza sauce spread it evenly.
  14. Now Sprinkle some cheese on the top.
  15. Sprinkle vegetables, chopped olives, seasoning and red chilli flakes (as per your taste).
  16. Cover and cook on low heat.
  17. Cook until pizza base is properly cooked and cheese has melted.
  18. Pizza is ready, garnish with basil leaves and serve hot.
  19. Repeat the same for rest of the dough to prepare more pizzas.

Fried Makhana Namkeen (Lotus Seeds) Recipe –Quick Home Snacks By Sunita

Ingredients –

  1. Makhana (lotus seeds) – 50 gram
  2. Oil / Ghee – 1 tsp.
  3. Black pepper – 1/2 tsp.
  4. Salt or black salt to taste
  5. Curry leaves – 7-8
  6. Ground nuts or cashew nuts – 1 tbsp.
  7. A pinch of turmeric powder

Method –

  • Heat a pan add oil, curry leaves and cook for few minutes on low heat.
  • After few minutes add makhana on low heat for 8-9 minutes or till crunchy.
  • Now add pinch of turmeric powder mix well.
  • After 8-9 minutes turn off the heat and put the makhana into the bowl.
  • Now heat a pan add ground nuts and roast for few minutes or till crunchy.
  • Now Add roasted ground nuts into the bowl.
  • Add black salt, black pepper and mix well.
  • Fried Makhana is ready to serve or store in airtight container.
