Mix Vegetable Pakora(मिक्स वेजिटेबल पकोड़ा)–Pakoda Recipe- Snacks Recipe-Easy And Quick Starters

Ingredients –

  1. Lengthwise sliced Capsicum /bell pepper (you can use any color of capsicum)
  2. Shredded cabbage
  3. Onions thinly sliced
  4. Lengthwise sliced carrot
  5. Rice flour –2 tbsp.
  6. Besan /chic flour – 4 tbsp.
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Lemon juice – 1 tbsp.
  9. Ginger – garlic paste or crushed –1/2 cup
  10. Ajwain /carom seeds –1 tsp.
  11. Turmeric powder –1 tsp.
  12. Red chilli powder or green chilli (as per your taste)
  13. Oil for deep frying

Method –

  • Add all the ingredients into a bowl and with the help of water prepare the dough.
  • Dough should be thick enough so that the vegetables are coated evenly.
  • Adjust salt if needed and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan /kadhai on medium heat.
  • Take small portion of the dough and gently drop in hot oil.
  • Keep stirring and fry on a medium heat until it turns light golden in color.
  • Once ready, transfer fried pakoras to a kitchen or absorbent tissue.
  • Repeat the same for rest of the dough.
  • Mix Vegetable Pakora is ready, serve hot with chutney….

Broccoli Pakora recipe/Broccoli recipe

Ingredients –

  1. Broccoli florets –3 cups
  2. Gram flour(besan) –1/2 cup
  3. Rice flour –1/3 cup
  4. Turmeric powder –1/2 tsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Oil as needed
  7. Garam masala –1/2 tsp
  8. Chopped green chilies/Red chili powder(as per your taste)
  9. Ginger-Garlic paste – 1/2 tbsp
  10. Turmeric  powder – 1/2 tsp

Method –

  • Add broccoli florets to salted hot water and after sometime drain the water from the pan.
  • Add broccoli florets into mixing bowl.
  • Add besan, rice flour, salt to taste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste and mix well.
  • Sprinkle water if required and coat the broccoli well with flour.
  • Add oil in frying pan, heat on medium temperature and fry until it turns golden brown.
  • Drain the fried broccoli on a kitchen tissue.
  • Broccoli Pakora is ready, serve hot with Masala tea or coffee.
