Corn Bhel /Chaat (2 मिनट्स कॉर्न चाट )-Popular Indian Street food- Healthy Snacks For Kids

Ingredients –

  • Boiled corn – 2 cups
  • Black salt – 1/2 tsp(as per your taste)
  • A pinch of Black paper
  • Red chilly flakes (as per your taste)
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp.
  • Roasted peanuts – 1 tbsp.
  • Finely chopped Veggies (onions, capsicum and tomato) as per your choice
  • Chat masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Tamarind chutney (as per your taste)
  • Sev / spicy mixture – 1/2 cup
  • Boiled and chopped potato (optional)
  • Chopped coriander leaves (optional)

Method –

  1. Take a bowl add all ingredients and mix well.
  2. Taste the chat before serving and adjust the
    salt and spice according to your taste.
  3. Corn chaat is ready, serve immediately.

Pear/Grape/Kiwi/Pomegranate Juice–Health Benefits-Summer Drink In 5 min

Ingredients –

  1. Piece of fresh ginger(rinse the ginger and peel it)
  2. Pink or black salt to taste
  3. Lemon juice (optional)
  4. Basil or Mint leaves (optional)
  5. Fruits – pear, grapes, kiwi, pomegranate, orange.
  6. Beetroot (wash and peel off the skin and cut them to small pieces)
  7. Ice cube (optional)

Method –

Grape juice-
  • Add grapes into the blender jar.
  • Add salt to taste and ginger.
  • You can also add mint or basil leaves according to you taste.
  • Blend them well until smooth.
  • Pass through a strainer and press down with a spoon.
  • Pour into the serving glass with ice cube.
  • Serve grape juice immediately before it begins to oxidize.
Pomegranate juice –
  • Add pomegranate seeds and beetroot into your blender jar.
  • Add salt to taste and ginger.
  • You can also add mint or basil leaves according to you taste.
  • Blend them well until smooth.
  • Pass through a strainer and press down with a spoon.
  • Pour into the serving glass with ice cube.
  • Serve fresh immediately before it begins to oxidize.

Pear juice –
  • Wash pears, peel off the skin and cut them to small cubes.
  • Add them with little kiwi pieces into the juicer or blender jar.
  • Add lemon, ginger and salt according to your taste.
  • You can also add mint or basil leaves according to you taste.
  • Add little water and Blend them well until smooth.
  • Strain the juice in a strainer, use a spoon to press down the juice.
  • Pour into the serving glass with ice cube.
  • Serve fresh immediately before it begins to oxidize.
Kiwi juice –
  • Wash kiwi, peel off the skin and cut them to small cubes.
  • Add them with orange pieces into the juicer or blender jar.
  • Add ginger and salt to taste.
  • Also you can add mint or basil leaves according to your taste.
  • Blend them well until smooth.
  • Strain the juice in a strainer, use a spoon to press down the juice.
  • Pour into the serving glass with ice cube.
  • Serve fresh immediately before it begins to oxidize.

Mango Ice Cream (मैंगो आइसक्रीम)-How To Make Ice Cream At Home-Ice Cream For Kids-Summer Recipe

Ingredients –

  1. Mango puree – 1 cup
  2. Whole milk –1 cup
  3. Dry milk powder –1 cup
  4. Fresh Cream –1 cup
  5. Powder sugar (as per your taste)
  6. Chopped mango pieces – 2 tbsp.

Method –

  • Place milk, sugar, mango puree, milk powder and cream  in a blender jar and blend well until it becomes smooth.
  • Pour into a container and mix the mango pieces.
  • Mix properly and close the container.
  • Keep it in the freezer for 7-8 hours.
  • Mango ice cream is frozen and ready.
  • Serve chilled.
  • You can also garnish with chocolate syrup before serving.

Thandai Powder( ठंडाई पाउडर) for Hoil – Home Made Thandai Masala By Sunita–Festival Recipe

Ingredients –

  1. Almonds (badam) – 1 cup
  2. Fennel Seeds (saunf) – 1/2 cup
  3. Pistachio (Pista) – 1/3 cup
  4. Sugar or as per your taste – 1/4 cup
  5. Poppy Seeds (khuskhus) – 1 tbsp.
  6. Muskmelon Seeds – 1 tbsp.
  7. Black Pepper (whole or powder) – 1 tsp.
  8. Whole Cardamom or powder (Elaichi)  -1 tbsp.
  9. A thread of Saffron (optional)

Method –

  • Add almond, muskmelon seeds in a mixture jar along with half of the measured sugar and grind them finely.
  • Sieve it to get fine powder of thandai.
  • Few thick mixture seeds are left on the sieve.
  • Put it back into the jar and add rest of the ingredients.
  • Sieve it once again.
  • You can use remaining thick powder of thandai for other recipe like sweet chila, drinks, etc..
  • Add black pepper powder and mix everything well.
  • Thandai powder is ready, you can store this powder into the refrigerator to be used later.

Swiss Roll with coconut or cashew nuts – Eggless Swiss Roll – Fireless Recipe

Preparation Time:  30-35 min

Serving: 4-5 person

Ingredients –

  1. Marie Biscuits or any other brand light taste biscuit – 2oo gm
  2. Unsweetened coco powder – 3 tsp
  3. Instant Coffee powder – 1 tsp
  4. Butter – 3 tsp
  5. Greeted coconut powder – 1 cup
  6. Sugar powder – 2 tsp
  7. Sweetened condensed milk – 2 tsp

Method –

  • Put the Biscuits in a zip lock and use a rolling pin to crush the Biscuits into fine powder (you can also use blender).
  • Add crushed biscuits, unsweetened coco powder, coffee powder, butter- 2 tsp, and condensed milk in a bowl and mix them well to make soft dough. Keep it aside in a separate container.

  • Add coconut powder, sugar, butter- 1 tsp in a bowl and mix well. Once the coconut mixture is ready, keep it aside.
  • Take the biscuit dough prepared above on a plastic wrap and roll it out with rolling pin (belna). Do not roll the biscuit layer very thin.

  • Spread the coconut mix on the biscuits layer and roll both the layers along with the plastic wrap.

  • Now wrap the flattened dough, as shown in the picture below.

  • Keep the Choco biscuit/Swiss roll in fridge for 2-3 hours.

  • After 2-3 hours cut the roll into slices and serve.
